The 'charger' we wire and install is technically referred to as Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment or EVSE. The 'charger' is a safety device which delivers AC (alternating current) electricity from your house to your vehicle which then converts it to DC (direct current).

Level 3 charging is quite costly and requires commercial service which may not be available in all areas. A Level 3 Charger converts the electricity to DC internally and passes the DC current straight to the vehicle's battery drastically reducing the charge time.
